As far as I know, there's only a few that can really out grow an average ceiling, and they would not be hardy in Tennessee.
The tricky part for me isn't their size, but the fact that the Giants are tropical means they aren't ruled by the seasons!
It's not a big deal if you can just move the plant outside when it wakes up and in for the cold, like I do with konjacs, but when they decide they're gunna wake up on Xmas and grow to 10' in a few months... Well that can be an issue!

I think they are in fact under ripe sauromatum seeds, that's just based in these pics and the fact that it's a hardy plant, but there are several cold hardy aroids that could live there, and I'm certainly not able to ID them by their seeds!

One thing is for sure!
Seeds contain great genetic diversity!
For all anyone knows, there could be a seed there that grows into a 10' tall giant voodoo lily!
How awesome would that be!
