Brian Mahieu is indeed an artist. He parted ways with Bluegrass Gardens and is no longer hybridizing, which is a shame. He currently is just doing art work and is involved in rescuing greyhounds.
Gudrid stats do match those given by the AHS but I also want to add that it is also one of my most fragrant daylilies. It increases very well in my zone and is both pod and pollen fertile. Gudrid is just about finished blooming but I went out and counted buds. I had 4 way branching this year with 20 buds.
