The two carpenters finished up their work for the day, and the younger one, probably in his mid to late twenties, told me that he loves plants. He first tried to buy my Vanda Sunlight 'Orange'....I declined. He then spotted a nice 1 1/2 year old staghorn mounted on a cypress knee. He bought it. Then he saw two-staghorns mounted on the opposite, epoxy side of a cypress knee (I finish and seal one side) and said growing the two side-by-side, showing both sides would be neat. He bought this one as well. I joked with him that he probably needs to work on another job-site in the future and that he can't afford spending time here.
He said he'll be back tomorrow and have more cash................just in case.
