Hi sharkfur,

Your Southern Maidenhair Fern (Adiantum capillus-veneris) looks very healthy but the brown, crinkly leaf edges may be from lack of enough humidity. You might want to try misting it daily, or even a couple of times a day to raise the humidity.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along soon and be able to offer suggestions and advice.
