So glad they have arrived. What I do is soak the root end in Superthrive. Not necessary and will mean they will do better either way. Some people let them rest for a period of a day or so inside. Most times I plant up right away.
Pot up in your mix, just slightly moist. Do not water in for 3-4 days. Then water and keep in a bright shady spot for at least a week or two. Then gradually move into sunlight. Keep somewhere that they will not get rain.

Post some photo's Kadie. Would love to see them. I get excited even when somewhen else gets new ones.
