Background history:

"Sabine Baur" is a semi-evergreen tetraploid introduced in 1997 by Jeff Salter. Jeff and Elizabeth Salter hybridize at Rollingwood Garden in Gainesville, Florida.

This cultivar can be found in the ATP Plant Database:

According to the ATP database, it is listed as an early to mid-season bloomer and re-bloomer as well as nocturnal. It has earned several AHS awards: Award of Merit: 2005, Honorable Mention: 2002, JC: 1997, DCS: 2002
