When I first got Sabine Baur it was short on bloom and didn't increase much. It might have been the -40 degrees winter we had for the first couple of winters after I got it or it might have been the soil. I had decided I would give it one more year and if it didn't do better I wouldn't keep it. So I moved it to another spot, added some black dirt and compost to the soil, and made more of an effort to keep it watered. It took off and grew and bloomed beautifully. It has continued to grow and increase and it had lots of blooms this year.
Thumb of 2015-08-18/4susiesjoy/d8112b It is in the front of the photo, if you enlarge it you can see all the buds and blooms.

Thumb of 2015-08-18/4susiesjoy/840aac It recurves a lot by the end of the day but this is right away in the morning when it had just opened.
