So I went out to move a sprinkler awhile ago and was doing a little hand watering on my way to the next spot, and he came out and wanted to know what I was hand watering. I said just these few pots, etc. he said well you aren't going to be pulling hoses any long distances are you?

I said no, not yet, I save that for when it gets to be 109. Sticking tongue out [/quote]

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I thought you were going to say 'I save that for the cooler evening time.'
Poor little birds. How sweet that you provide them with a safe place to enjoy water.

Okay, can't tell about the totally brown ones, but even they may be saved? The others are definitely in the realm of saving, even the sedum. SHADE. In the evening when the sun low and temps start going down for the night, mist the plants. If you have a nozzle that adjusts to misting that would be good to use. Don't over water the semps. The sedum can take a little more water, but not to much. All is not lost.
