Mayo I think you would be fine to try and root those ones. They are quite large. I have also found that if you leave them on the scape there will often be a small portion of the scape that does not turn brown as it is supplying the prolif until it is removed.

I've had prolifs this year on Dragonfly Dawn, Diana's Peaches and Cream, Black Fury, Barracuda Bite, Green Arrow (looks a lot like Natalie's) and Queen of Green.
