These are two of my clumps I believe they are IB because they don't grow so tall and bloomed a lot earlier. We moved every few years, so I never had to split until this year. It was bad, I gave away a whole paper bag of rhizomes from that circular bed. It was a brick deep with embedded drippers and took two half days of work. I haven't worked on the other bed whose purple flowers look the same to me, but have PBF.
