mine did really well, from just a 1 year old plant, i got at friends plant sale for $ 7. Just this one season she grew two great leaves and 5 bulblets. 4 have sense been re potted and are in small pots. mama's getting sleepy i can tell..... her last leaf is starting to turn yellow and perk up from the full sun it got outside today. I will wait for the leaf to completely wither before taking her out of the soil and putting her on my bookshelf. She did so well this year but i took her out before completely dormant(- bad idea wont make the same mistake again.) I had no idea the size of the tuber when i got it but it was as big as a small plum when i took it out. Then again I got a special Amorphophallus food from europe on Amazon so it doesn't surprise me.
