Unfortunately the deer have eaten most of the pods on my daylilies. I have one daylily that develops quite dark pods but it had its flower buds eaten this year.
The picture below is about the darkest pod that I have now.
This is a pod from several years ago; Unfortunately the photo is completely out of focus but the filename indicates it was a very dark bluish-purple
