We bought 2 of these (at least they look exactly like your photo) at a local nursery and have each in container. The tag says "Orange Carpet" California fuchsia- botanical name on tag Zauschneria garettii. Also read somewhere the genus name was changed to Epilobium but Zauschneria is a better known name. So plantladylin and dirtdorphins, looks like you got it!
