could you post the formula?

I was on a very active Epiphyllum forum and they said if your Eppis were not blooming to try this recipe. I tried it and it had my plants started to bloom. I had the plant for 4 yrs and it never bloomed.

I used it on a Hoya cutting and the little cutting bloomed. I was sold on how good it worked for me. I started using it on all my plants and I have seen good results. They said they got it out of one of those Jerry Baker books they had purchased.

This is the recipe. I add what I use and where I purchased the ingredients.

One 12 to 16 oz can of malt type beer. (a dark beer) - I nothing about beer. I had a can of Budwieser and that is what I used.

1/2 cup of non-sudsing clear household ammonia - I picked up a bottle from the Dollar store.

1 cup Epsom salts

1/2 cup Molasses (Un-Sulphured, Black Strap Molasses) - I used Grocery store Molasses.

4 scoops Schultz Expert Bloom-Plus 10-60-10 water soluble plant food, with chelated Iron, Manganese & Zinc. - I use Miracle Grow Bloom Booster.

2 cups of tap water

Store in a plastic jug, no need to keep cold. Store at room temp.

Use as follows:

During growing season add 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water.

Dormant season add 1 teaspoon per gallon of water.
