I have a pod on Gram's Dream that cracked open enough to get a good look at large white seeds that were inside. It happened a day after we had a wonderful and very needed rain. I figured it popped open a bit because it finally got some badly needed moisture. I waited and watched as the seeds DID turn dark. I also have several others where the pods are dark (almost sunburned looking). Being my first year of seed collecting, that is what I chalked it up to???? I do have Royal Frosting, don't remember if I have a pod on it. I will check when I get back home...I've been house, dog, and cat sitting for my sister almost two weeks now. I can't wait to get home to my pods!!! And my dear hubby too Whistling Bless his heart. I have him checking the pods while I'm gone. I'm so happy to see others pictures of the pods and seeds and hearing the experiences. It really helps us newbies. Thank You!
