Susan - THAT is a truly remarkable bud builder of a cultivar! I just HAD to look it up in the Plant Database and saw that both parents were registered in the 1950's and Pumpkin Time was registered in 1984 ! What an awesome plant! That is what I would consider to be a future heirloom daylily ... and a very good one at that! Loved the fact that it is a late bloomer, too! I was very surprised to see it has no listed children. That is one cultivar that SHOULD be used in hybridizing being such a good bud builder and a late bloomer! Very, very nice!!!! Thanks for introducing me to your oldie goldie!
