I don't own this cultivar, but my daughter has it in her garden. We tend to not buy the same cultivars, since we enjoy each other's gardens frequently and that way, we get to enjoy and try even more daylily cultivars. My daughter only lives a 15 minute drive from me, so our growing conditions are similar. This cultivar is a very strong grower here in Eastern Ontario. It multiplies quickly and blooms well. It was planted as a potted plant early in the spring and bloomed that summer. The bloom holds that nice dark colour very well. It looks very pretty next to El Desperado in my daughter's garden. It has been very hardy, even through the past two very cold winters.
I took this picture at her garden on August 10th.
