Someone I won't name, mowed over my well grown patch of wet-loving natives in July. This area had Queen of the Prairie, Joe Pye Weed and this Sweet Indian Plantain. Oh, I was so angry, but I should not have been. My plants are short, maybe about two feed or so, but all of them are showing the beginnings of flowers!!! Oh, I am so excited, especially for this one which is endangered in Iowa, among other states.
