Hey Cinda,

Just ate the first Zapotec--that seems like a long wait...
We had a 'taste test' of six different kinds that were ready (still waiting on two) from the garden tonight and it came in second.
I pronounce it "Good"; BF said, "I'd hire it again next year".

It is an interesting fruit. The biggest one was kind of open inside, but not 'hollow' as some report. The skin has a pretty insubstantial mouth-feel, which I enjoy. It was juicy and pleasant, although I would call it a very mild flavor, and not really acidic or sweet.
If I could only grow one tomato in a hot, dry place with crappy soil, this might be a fair candidate. Thankfully, I am not so limited Smiling
