Ken, I also used to be more of a Booster for capitalism (as practiced then) and the USA, as I thought the USA was back then.
I think that both have gone WAY downhill in the greedy, heartless, inhumane, conscienceless, rapaciously exploitative direction. Maybe I was more naive 30 years ago, or maybe things were as much better back then as I imagined them to be.
Bitter negativity is a reasonable reaction when dearly cherished beliefs are shattered and beloved institutions are taken over by sociopaths who appear to literally worship Greed as a crusading religion.
As always when we disagree, I respect you a lot even when I disagree with some of your opinions or political position.
