are you doing the front or back, or whole yard? Is it large or small? Post some pictures of your house, and what you like, and don't like about the current landscaping, and what, if anything you'd like to save. What type of maintenance do you envision? What is the garden used for? Are you wanting trees?
I was just going through some old garden design magazines that had lots of ideas for many types of gardens. I'm working on a 70' x7' border where I took out some lawn. I want to do roses, iris, some fastigiate conifers, and perennials..maybe a few small flowering trees...
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
