Thanks, Neal. The heat along with the high humidity are oppressive here. Add that to the fact that I have developed cataracts in the back of both eyes...not much actual gardening going on this summer. Getting an implant in the eye that's the worst in a few weeks. Difficult to wait, though.

I had gloriosas that were in a pot for 4 or 5 years. They did well there but the freakish onset of winter caught me before I got them into their usual protection. I surely miss them.
