I am going to fill this contraption with water, and see if an orchid will enjoy hugging the pot. Plain terracotta, stuck together with 'waterproof' caulk. The upside down pot ought to stay wet, hey? Spray on fertilizer occasionally.
I get so tired of orchids crawling out of pots! There just isn't a medium that they like here in the Caribbean.
I'll be posting photos as this project progresses. I'd rather have a sort of jug, but haven't found a plain terracotta jug yet.
I hope it doesn't leak, I'm letting it cure for four days.
