Thank you for your warm "Welcome" to this forum. This is the first year I am growing Iris here in my new home in Southern New Jersey. I have grown Iris previously when I lived in Northern New Jersey, but the soil was quite different up there then it is down here. Here the soil is very sandy.
In North Jersey, the soil was clay. I'm trying to do a lot of reading up regarding soils, and soil
amendments, and learn what Iris like in order to grow and bloom well.
Back then, I remember I grew an Iris called "Immortality" and "Edith Wolford". They were both very
large bloomed Iris and did very well for me.
