Last year i purchased several fans of Stargate Portal so this was its 1st full year of growth in my garden. Its performance was lackluster and being such a small clump it did not reach anywhere near the listed scape height. The blooms were faded also. Starting this fall all my beds will undergo a fertilizer regimen and i feel it is lack of good soil prep and fertilizer that has caused this cultivar to perform so bad.
Only another year will tell and i am keeping this one until i have better success.
