I've found you sometimes have to play around with different combinations and descriptions, like trying violet, purple, or wine or cream, brown, etc. Another example is you may need to switch between bitone and bicolor.

Recently found a possible id for a soft brown historic thanks to a photo Sherry (@Henhouse) posted of Glen Ellen. I'll be growing these side by side to make a more positive assessment (thanks Sherry!).

Now here's one that kinda has me scratching my head as to how to describe it. How would you describe the colors and color classification?

PS - "Glen Ellen" is a must-have for me, and I have put it on my Wish List for next year. I think it is really a beautiful Iris. Smiling
