This looks like a wonderful and worthy project. I haven't seen such an initiative before, but it's the kind of thing I think we need much more of. Taking note of the different organizations who are collecting seeds for this project gives me a sense that there are a lot of unsung heroes of the land out there.

This a far better response to storm erosion than "beach re-nourishment"
