I had a lab mix that loved to help me find all the sticks in the yard when she was a puppy. I had to put her down due to age about 7 years ago. Here is a pic of her wanting to play in the snow.
When she was younger, If I was out doing some weeding, she would come and help and pull on some of the grass. She was the best help.
