I know we have some members that overwinter new semps in their garage. You just have to keep them on the dry side, and let them stay somewhat dormant.
I'm not sure of what will be available in the spring. This is the time of year that I downsize the colonies, so they wake up in the spring with room to grow. You can check back in the spring to see what is available. As we all know, they certainly do like to produce offsets.
