This was the first year EMERALD STARBURST bloomed for me, and I was very impressed. I was really happy that it did prove to be fertile both ways, and I can't wait to see my seedlings bloom someday! Since I just recently started making dip crosses I was really thrilled to see an average of about 25 seeds per pod (tets seem to only have 5 or 6 seeds per pod for me), and the pollens I used on it were LILLIAN'S VAPOR TRAIL, LITTLE MENEHUNE, SUBURBAN MARY LOIS BURKETT and WILD DREAMS.
Since I'm growing EMERALD STARBURST in a pot on a table I can't say how well it grows in the ground, but the plant really does look good so far -- especially in our drought conditions.
I am really pleased with my EMERALD STARBURST!
