I owned Emerald Starburst one year and lost it over the winter. Heard it can be temperamental. However, most of George's daylilies grow great for me: GREEN ICON, Zachary, Hickey, Marty Wray, Joan Dahl, Nancy Britz, Rose F Kennedy. Ironically, I also lost my namesake Kate Reed.
George hybridizes for distinction and his standards are very high.
