I tend to agree - this one wins as a foliage plant even if it does not bloom. Especially the 'Red Neck Girl' variety. In Zone 8 and above, where it can establish itself and is not just an annual, we have it start blooming in July and it continues until hard frost. But new plants set out in the spring rarely flower before mid to late September.
