I think it depends where you are in FL ... yes, we have high humidity where I'm at too, but there's almost always a sea breeze. The air moving helps make the humidity a lot more tolerable. There were days in Indiana with high humidity and no air movement ... I'll take my current situation any day over that. And really, even though I didn't like the snow, I always thought the ice was even worse. that's what usually kept me inside.
