A damaged vertical "stud" was found damaged, and though it is in place with the attached side-bars, it will have to be replaced. There is a gash and bent edge. This wouldn't affect the structural integrity of the sunroom but it would be an esthetic problem.
The aluminum framing, other than the gable-end, is complete. The rubber gaskets are being placed and glass begins to go on tomorrow. We can now see the door-way and windows. The carpenters are due back on Monday and they'll begin casing in the main beam and the central and end columns. All the copper tubing, electrical cables, and thermostat wiring is in place but the AC/Heat unit won't be in place until the room is closed in with glass and the majority of the woodwork done. There is still an awful lot of work to be done but I feel better about seeing it completed during my lifetime.
