Really?? Sunflowers?? I know Thomas Edison did a lot of experiments trying to make rubber out of Goldenrod, but had never heard of it being in sunflowers, too. It's usually already in liquid form in the sap of the plant isn't it?

I'd be very careful of the possibility of toxins and allergens in any plant product you are thinking of chewing or ingesting.
