Hi Jon and robertduval....this thread caught my eye, because ever since I discovered and fell in love with DLs, the ones that have done so well in my raised beds, zone 6 with hard northern winds, are Siloams. They are gorgeous, these flowers, their form, their substance. First was S. bye lo. Have had it for 9 or 10 years. Love this plant, can hardly stand to part with its divisions, the flowers are so beautiful.
Also what continues to do well, and even one year started to rebloom late in the season, was S. doodle bug. Also, S. royal prince, stunning! and Siloam tiny tim is my first encounter with a DL with a blue eye, which is going to get me in trouble, actually, because I will now have to have many more DLs that have a blue anything ...I could have screamed, the first time I saw a DL with a blue eye. Anyway, thanks, your thread is great!
