I quit listing anything I have as a "bid-item" a year ago. Everything is now listed as a "buy-it-now" price but I also allow and actually enjoy someone making an offer on my items. Numerous times I had a bid go way higher than I knew my plant was worth, and to tell you the truth, it embarrassed me to see someone pay much more than it was worth. All I could do was include a free plant to make up for that over-bid price. It is fairer for eBay purchasers and more comfortable for me to price my items fairly.
