Are those the ones that have a red color, when they are in the larval stage, Sherry ? Then turn "stripped" when the become a 'beetle'. I had tem really bad this year on my potatoes....never saw any before this year Confused . I sprayed with sevin....and got very poor results, but, in doing some reading, I've found there is a "biological control" for them (only works when they are in the larval stage), so I'm going to get some , for next year. I hate using the sevin in the veggie garden.....especially when it really doesn't have much effect on the bugs !
