We had a very noisy thunderstorm yesterday, but no rain. Just now I got chased indoors by heavy sudden rain, but no thunder. As I was running for cover, I noticed Den crumenatum - the Thunderstorm Orchid - has blooms again! It really is living up to its billing very well, so far. The blooms are small and don't last more than a day or two, but they sure do come along often!
