This has been a crazy year for seed for me. A lot of established peonies that normally put out what looks to be viable seed put out non-viable looking instead while a few new peonies that only had a couple of blooms put out an amazing amount of good looking seed for the number of blooms. I still have pods on at least 40 plants that are still green, don't look like they're opening soon at all. Don't know if they'll make it before our first frost..
