I have had no luck identifying this plant, it was given to me a few months ago and I never gave much thought to it. But now I'm curious about it. Using google and the plant database here has come up with nothing. The leaves fall off in much the same way as a palm tree does, leaving sort of spines where the old leaves were all up the base. It did flower for a short time, I don't have a picture of it, but it resembled a small, short peace lily that didn't go above the leaves. Any thoughts on what it is?
