I hate the damage grasshoppers do.
How do you manage that many orchids in the kitchen? Have you rigged up a special shelf with lights? Or do you have them hanging by a window? My little fellow wouldn't take up much room except for the bloom stem. With that it's requiring about 2' of air space and could use more to be safe when it gets windy. That's outside, of course. It could have closer neighbors inside where there isn't any wind, but it would still need room for the stem.
