How do you manage that many orchids in the kitchen?
I have a 2 shelf Baker's rack that works nicely. Any with very long flower stems go on the top.
They are in an area where they get indirect light from a South window and more or less direct from a West window. Shades turned in mid afternoon.
They did fine there last winter. The prior winter they were on a table in my living room. I do have an understanding wife who loves orchids.
Stems that turn brown are cut = any with green are left to rebloom and/or form a keiki. If they do neither and turn brown, off they go. I have 5 keikis right now - two are pushing a year old and close to removing from Mama.
I have 3 on one Phal that did a terminal flower - that is left to understand later.
