I tried Plummies I mean I really tried. I gave them about 5 yrs to bloom but gave up. I think my summers really are not hot and sunny enough to get them to bloom.
I grew Brugs for about 5 yrs but they really get to big to drag in every winter. Starting them from cuttings was an option but too much trouble for so little return. Starting them from cuttings I did not get flowers until late in the summer and that is a waste of pot space.
I have been working on easy plants to create my tropical look on the patio that I can do without to much effort and early results. Our summers are really only 4-5 months I want results early and big. Cannas have become my best option for that task.
