It was a very disappointing season for daylilies here in SW UK. We had far more rain than usual and much cooler temperatures. Not many vibrant colours, just pale imitations of the usual ones and anything with edges just went soggy. We have also had a lot of high winds so it has been a very depressing summer. However I am developing an addiction for Heuchera! I have bought around 20 different ones and they look absolutely gorgeous. I have planted them around a couple of borders in front of and between daylilies. Maybe this will keep me happy until next daylily season
