There is no problem whether your (bad) cutting has callused or not. Even if it were a fresh cutting, it would still callus during the time it left your house until the time of delivery. I would ask this "company" to issue a free postage label so all you had to do was box it and have the USPS pick it up. If they are unwilling to do so, put that in your comment. This is all their fault, not yours. Though I cannot tell about the age of the cutting from your pictures, I sure do agree with @hetty. The cuttings are far too short. My cuttings will be 16" up to a whopping 24". If one wanted to, they can often cut mine in half and root both halves. Whistling
