Vic, Dr. Oz is right! I used to eat it when I was gardening...the new stems are best. But the ornamental, which I grow, isn't as tasty as the "weed" type with the tiny yellow flowers. My article here has a recipe...let me locate it.

The cool thing is you can add purslane to any salad.
