Shadegardener said:Cinda - I noticed the zone. That would be the dilemma - where to store the potted plant. All of my spaces are heated to some degree although I have a cold frame that won't drop below 20 degrees. Thermostatically controlled 60 watt light bulb will come on to protect potted greens.

Actually, I bring mine in when it starts to go dormant. It doesn't need to be kept particularly warm, it is supposed to be hardy to zone 4 (container would be less, of course) - so I think that a protected 20 degrees would probably be OK. I wouldn't hesitate to try it.
