I can attest to the dahlias Geof sells and/or trades. Each one was correctly named (some big suppliers can't say that) and the tubers all grew well.
The down side to not digging is the tubers do grow themselves to death. I've had it happen so digging is the best option for me. I don't want to lose any of my beauties.
