Yes, I've noticed that too! What a very nice surprise that was!
That way a few flowers go a long way

As I noticed that most of my DL's flowered in the summer (mid), I deliberately bought about a dozen mid-late and late cultivars to extend the blooming season in my garden.

Over here the nights are in the low 40's and days in the low 60's.
